The Slovenian-Ghana Business Club, the leading Slovenian business support organization in Ghana, is a bilateral business club dedicated to improving economic development between Ghana and Slovenia. It was set up to facilitate trade between Ghana and Slovenia. The SGBC offers outstanding support to its members through the sharing of knowledge and ideas, the development of networks for developing stronger structures and the providing of relations with the Government and its agencies. One of its main objectives is to see Ghana becoming a significant economic partner for Slovenia as an export market, an import source, an investment destination and vice versa. It serves to promote the business interests of its members in both countries and to build more business opportunities.


  • SGBC holds a variety of activities throughout the year, providing our members with the platform to develop and improve their brands, gaining valuable personal referrals and word-of-mouth ads, and pursuing market opportunities.
  • As a powerful, credible and most respected voice of the Slovenia-Ghana business community, SGBC engages directly with the Governments of Ghana and the Republic of Slovenia, policy makers, opinion leaders and all key parties through lobbying and advocacy of the interests and concerns of our members.
  • SGBC promotes bilateral trade between Slovenia and Ghana through capacity building and market entry services such as analysis, due diligence, B2B agreements, trade missions and trade facilitation in general.
